For Institutions
Julia Woodward Antykwariat works with libraries, museums, archives, universities and other public collections in Poland and internationally. Particular attention is given to material of Polish historical significance, including manuscripts, autographs, archives, incunabula, early printed books, maps and documentary material whose importance may not yet have been fully recognised on the international market.
Where an object is especially relevant to a public collection, I am happy to discuss acquisition procedures, institutional terms, documentation requirements and other practical arrangements.

Acquisition requests
Institutions are invited to share their collecting priorities or submit specific acquisition requests. Important material is frequently placed privately before public offering, and the Antykwariat regularly handles objects that have not yet appeared on the open market.

Polish material returning to public collections
A particular aim of Julia Woodward Antykwariat is to identify historically significant Polish material outside Poland and, where possible, facilitate its return to Polish collections.
For material of clear national, regional or institutional significance, Polish public institutions may be offered preferential access or acquisition terms before wider commercial marketing. -
Institutional terms
Depending on the object, value and circumstances, we may be able to offer extended reservation periods, preferential pricing, priority acquisition opportunities, flexible payment arrangements and to help facilitate independent expert consultation.
Loans, exhibitions and research access
Requests relating to exhibitions, scholarly publications, image reproduction or research access are considered individually. I invite enquiries relating to possible exhibition or study of any of the objects available in my inventory.
Where practical, material may also be made available for examination by curators, scholars or other institutional specialists before acquisition.
